About MJT

Minnesota Join Together (MJT) is a coalition of youth, adults, and organizations working to reduce underage drinking in Minnesota.  Our mission is to change statewide public policy to impact underage drinking and the problems it causes our young people and communities.

In 1996, public health advocates concerned about underage drinking formed Minnesota Join Together.  In 1997, MJT received a four-year grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and in 2001, the funding was renewed.  MJT also received funding from the U.S. Department of Justice through the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.  The Minnesota Institute of Public Health served as the host agency for MJT, providing in-kind support. In 2005, MJT transitioned to a citizen’s network that relies on member donations and administrative support from Ewald Consulting

Currently, more than 1,200 individuals are on MJT’s contact list.  Add your name to MJT's list, or better yet, contribute to MJT to help us fight to reduce underage drinking.
